Course Simulation Techniques Based on Multi-agent Systems for Network Management (4 credits, two cycles) Objectives: The continued evolution and growth of such networks and the increasing complexity of devices connected to them, makes their management by human operators is increasingly costly and complex. The course aims to provide an overview of current solutions to manage the uncertainty in the network management through the development of networks capable of automation tasks diagnosis, correction, optimization, configuration and protection. The course will focus on presenting simulation techniques that facilitate the modeling of such solutions. The detailed objectives of the course are: Understanding the problem of managing complex networks Knowing the principles of Cognitive Systems and Networks Autonomous. Learn techniques of multiagent systems simulation and its application to network management Knowing technologies that facilitate the management of uncertainty in networks of networks - Learn practical applications used in industry for managing networks using intelligent agents.
